Gantt Chart - A tool to display activities, tasks and events against time. It is used to identify the time frame and urgency of tasks to be completed.
A Gantt Chart allows viewers to see what various activities planned are, when each activity is scheduled to start and end, where activities overlap with other acitivities, and the start and end date of the whole project. It helps the business measure its actual progress against the scheduled progress in order to identify problems with productivity, and where are its priorities in operations.
